She is also a faculty affiliate with the Georgia Policy Labs at Georgia State University, the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities at the University of Notre Dame, the Institute for Research on Poverty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Children\u0027s Pediatric Research Alliance at the Children\u0027s Healthcare of Atlanta.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cDr. Bullinger\u2019s\u202fdeep\u202fexpertise in research\u202fand leadership will be a tremendous asset to supporting and amplifying the amazing research in the College,\u201d said Amanda Murdie, dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, Regents\u2019 Professor, and Ivan Allen Jr. Chair. \u201cHer leadership roles both at Georgia Tech and in her research area make her an ideal leader for the College\u2019s research enterprise.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBullinger\u2019s research examines how public policies affect child and family health and well-being, especially among low-income families. She has also served two elected terms on the\u202fJimmy and Rosalynn\u202fCarter School\u202fof Public Policy\u2019s Faculty Executive Committee and co-hosts the annual Atlanta Workshop on Public Policy and Child Well-being.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EShe earned a Ph.D. from the O\u0027Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
