The objective of the proposed research is to establish a generative platform that integrates design, analysis, and fabrication of microvascular networks that captures defining architectural and functional features of biological capillary beds while remaining computationally and experimentally accessible. By unifying new approaches to stochastic, closed-circuit network generation, inverse parameter assignment, high throughput network-level characterization, and fabrication-aware translation within a single platform, this line of research addresses a long-standing gap between the complexity of native microvasculature and the simplicity of extant microfluidic vascular models.]]>
