Georgia Tech is providing FREE four-hour training, funded by a Susan Harwood Grant, on Warehouse Hazards in the Workplace for Employers and Employees.The free course will address how to prevent injury and illness due to workplace exposures in warehouses.
Topics to Cover:
- Recognition of safety hazards in warehousing facilities and prevention strategies
- Powered Industrial Truck safety and responsibilities
- Ergonomic best practices and safe material handling
- Chemical and thermal stressor risk assessments and strategies
