The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl (HRRB) is a local K12 reading competition created by Georgia educators to encourage students to read! Schools and public libraries throughout the state of Georgia compete annually in Local, Regional, and State Finals competitions to answer questions about award nominated books. The reading bowls typically provide their volunteers with both breakfast and lunch, with additional food options on site.

]]>Come join the Civic Service Committee as we volunteer with the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl on Saturday, February 28th! The upcoming competition for the Metro Regional division will be at Clayton State University. The tentative volunteering time is from 8:30am-2pm, plus about a 30 minute car ride to and from the location.
