Her major fields of study are scientific labor markets, gender differences in employment outcomes, wage inequality, science policy, and investments in children.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGinther has published in several journals, including \u003Cem\u003EScience\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EJournal of the American Statistical Association\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EJournal of Economic Perspectives\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EDemography\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EPsychological Science in the Public Interest\u003C\/em\u003E, and the \u003Cem\u003EPapers and Proceedings of the American Economic Association\u003C\/em\u003E. She has also received research funding from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
