What began as a small creative collective has grown into a full-fledged filmmaking community that empowers students of all experience levels to bring their stories to life through film.

On April 17, 2026, Buzz Studios proudly returns to the historic Plaza Theatre for the third annual End-of-Year Film Screening. This culminating event will feature a wide-ranging slate of student-produced films shot across Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026, all showcased in the Plaza’s iconic Lefont Auditorium.

The screening serves as both a celebration and a culmination of a year’s worth of creativity, collaboration, and experimentation. From narrative shorts to experimental projects, the night highlights the wildly creative energy of Georgia Tech’s student filmmakers—many of whom are stepping behind the camera for the very first time. The event stands as a testament to Buzz Studios’ lasting mission: to give students the tools, platform, and confidence to tell their stories through film.
