The work blends sculpture and architectural design, shifting roles depending on its context — serving as an artistic focal point during performances and an everyday gathering space for nearby residents.

Stradley collaborated with artist and producer Katie Soule and a team of Georgia Tech architecture students to construct the Western Red Cedar structure on site. The project offered students hands-on exposure to fabrication and highlighted the physical labor often hidden within architectural practice.

School of Architecture leadership noted that the installation reflects the program’s commitment to creativity, material exploration, and community engagement. Situated alongside dance, music, and visual art at the Goat Farm, Cedar Stack expands public awareness of architecture’s role within Atlanta’s broader arts ecosystem.
