The University of Illinois\u2019 Computer-Based Testing Facility (CBTF) supports thousands of students each semester, allowing flexible scheduling, frequent assessments, and a more effective learning experience.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn this talk, \u003Cstrong\u003EDr. Craig Zilles\u003C\/strong\u003E will:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EShare research on frequent and \u201csecond-chance\u201d testing to enhance learning and reduce anxiety\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDiscuss patterns of cheating on unproctored online assessments\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDescribe how the CBTF reduces faculty workload while maintaining exam integrity\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDr. Zilles will also provide practical insights for implementing computer-based testing facilities at other institutions and discuss the potential benefits for large STEM courses.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESpeaker Bio:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr\u003ECraig\u0026nbsp;Zilles\u0026nbsp;is a Professor and Severns Faculty Scholar in the Siebel School of Computer and Data Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
