685397 event 1759240973 1759241250 <![CDATA[HLC Presents: Atlanta Community Food Bank Volunteer]]> The Honors Leadership Council's Civic Service committee is partnering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) for a morning of volunteering at their Hunger Action Center on Sunday, November 16th. As a Hunger Action Center volunteer, you may assist with a myriad of tasks including sorting and packing recently donated food, building and labeling boxes, repackaging bulk produce, or boxing non-perishable items for seniors across Atlanta. Space is limited to 30 John H. Martinson Honors Program students.

Breakfast will be provided at 7:30am in the JMHP office lounge, and then we will be leaving at 8:00am from West Village on a charter bus. We will be back on campus by 12:00pm.

Please Note: Closed-toe closed-heel shoes are required. Volunteers must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Some individuals may be asked to lift boxes up to 40 pounds.
