In this presentation, Dr. Rueda-Castro will share insights from her recent work and demonstrate that data collected with this device can yield publishable results in non-clinical studies. She will highlight findings from her latest publication in <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-025-13027-x" id="OWAd759ab82-5a26-7141-68ef-7c3ed33dc371" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-025-13027-x">Scientific Reports</a>, which was based on data collected with Emotiv 2.0.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>BONUS</strong>: Following the talk, Dr. Rueda-Castro will also offer a hands-on demo of a data pipeline that takes researchers from data collection to a workable dataset using a VR headset+EMOTIV EEG set-up.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>About the speaker:</strong></div><div>Dr. Valentina Rueda-Castro is a psychologist with a PhD in neuroscience from the Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy. She has worked at Tecnológico de Monterrey since 2017 and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at its <a href="https://tec.mx/en/ife?srsltid=AfmBOoomS81dKaT0cqoES0axeRKC5niLc0SG7R0UroehZ389hwonWfSx" id="OWA38ce99aa-2e92-b969-3284-0005709f73e5" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="https://tec.mx/en/ife?srsltid=AfmBOoomS81dKaT0cqoES0axeRKC5niLc0SG7R0UroehZ389hwonWfSx">Institute for the Future of Education</a>&nbsp;(IFE).
