Tony Zivalich, who served as the inaugural AVP for the Office of Real Estate Development, will continue to serve as senior advisor for Real Estate until his planned retirement later this year.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp lang=\u0022EN-US\u0022\u003E\u201cThis leadership role for Real Estate Development supports the Institute\u2019s contributions to economic development, innovation, and commercialization,\u201d said Tricia Chastain, executive vice president for Administration and Finance. \u201cWe are grateful to Tony for his vision and leadership which have helped set the stage for Tech\u2019s future growth.\u201d\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp lang=\u0022EN-US\u0022\u003EZivalich began working with Georgia Tech in 1998, and, since then, he has provided the leadership for and oversight of multiple high-profile real estate developments that have advanced the Institute\u2019s mission and strategic plan. These innovative projects include Technology Square, The CODA Building and High Performance Computing Center, The Interlock in West Midtown, Cobb County Research Campuses for the Georgia Tech Research Institute, and the rapidly expanding Science Square district.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAdrian McCord will continue to serve as interim AVP for the Office of Real Estate Development until a successor is announced.
