Students who are interested in going global throughout their career at Tech should consider enrolling in one of OIE’s discipline-specific sections of GT1000. The class prepares students for their time at Tech and an OIE discipline-specific section of GT1000 augments this education with an international focus.

• Study Abroad Section, Tue. – 12:30pm-1:20pm, CRN #91517
  This section is for students in any major who are interested in international education opportunities, such as studying or interning abroad.
• Intercultural Section, Tue. – 9:30am-10:20am, CRN #83415
  This section is designed for students from all majors who are curious about different cultures and global perspectives, or who are currently pursuing — or considering — the International Plan degree designation.
• International Student Section, Tue. – 9:30am-10:20am, CRN: 90025
  This section is specifically designed for and open to any first-year student who self-identifies as "international."  Its purpose is to help students make a successful transition to college by becoming better acquainted with the academic and social environments here at Georgia Tech.
