Foundations 101: Working With Private Foundations Around Research

Open to all academic and research faculty

We all have seen announcements in the news or know colleagues at other institutions who have secured funding from large and/or private foundations. We all know their names — Ford, Kellogg, Gates, MacArthur, etc. — but what you want to know is how can you get on their grantee list. Please join us as Georgia Tech’s Foundation Relations team (Nicole Dancz-Bal, Kristine Haskett, Tiffany Sylve, and Macie Thompson) will answer questions such as how private foundations operate, how to know if a funder is a potential fit for your research, and what resources are available to help faculty interested in pursuing these opportunities.

Thursday, July 10, 2025
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Please RSVP by July 1, 2025

Sponsored and hosted by the Office of Foundation Relations and the Office of the Vice President for Interdisciplinary Research
