The newly created Office of Student Achievement will represent an evolution and rethinking of OMED: Educational Services and First-Generation Student Initiatives. The new unit, which will be led by \u003Cstrong\u003ESybrina Atwaters\u003C\/strong\u003E, will expand current student success programs and services aimed at improving retention and graduation rates and academic engagement, and will assess and address gaps in student academic support, identify areas for optimization, and strengthen partnerships that enhance student success.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Office of Student Achievement will collaborate across units in the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success to build partnerships with other student resource units across campus, such as the Tech Promise Scholarship, Strategic Outreach Initiatives, Financial Aid, and Student Engagement and Well-being.
