The first round,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/research.gatech.edu\/sei-and-gtri-announced-awardees-seed-funding-energy-and-national-security-workshop\u0022\u003Eannounced\u003C\/a\u003E in September 2024, provided planning grants to six teams to support their initiatives in the fall. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ERecipients of the second phase of seed funding have now been announced. This phase will provide research support in the spring, with an option for additional funding through the 2025-26 academic year.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cThis seed funding initiative by SEI and GTRI is a significant step toward advancing national security through innovative energy solutions.
