These field professionals have been recognized for their outstanding research and service to the community, contributing significantly to the advancement of applied mathematics, computational science, and data science.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAmong the 25 members of the community being honored is \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.isye.gatech.edu\/users\/katya-scheinberg\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EKatya Scheinberg\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E, a Coca-Cola Foundation Chair and Professor in the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/isye.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EH. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering\u003C\/a\u003E at Georgia Tech. Professor Scheinberg is also a Gary C. Butler Family Faculty Fellow.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHer recognition as a SIAM Fellow is attributed to her foundational contributions to derivative-free optimization and optimization applications in data science, as well as her dedicated service to the optimization community. Notably, she is one of only two professors from Georgia Tech to receive this prestigious honor in 2025.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EProfessor Scheinberg\u0027s career includes positions at Cornell University, Lehigh University, and the IBM T.J.
