  <title><![CDATA[Apply or Nominate a Colleague for the 2025-2026 Emerging Leaders Program]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<div><div><p>Eligible academic and research faculty are invited to apply for the 2025-2026 cohort of the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP).&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>The ELP prepares faculty for academic and research leadership roles across campus. Fostering and mentoring the qualities of strong leadership is at the core of Georgia Tech’s mission to develop leaders who advance technology and improve the human condition. Institute leadership looks forward to another cycle of this impactful program.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>"The Emerging Leaders Program exemplifies Georgia Tech's commitment to nurturing talent and preparing our faculty for impactful leadership roles,” said <strong>Steve McLaughlin</strong>, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. “By equipping participants with the skills and perspectives needed to lead the Institute, the program strengthens our community."&nbsp;</p></div><div><p><strong>About the ELP</strong>&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>The Office of the Provost and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research partner with the Institute for Leadership and Social Impact and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty to host the Emerging Leaders Program.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>The ninth ELP cohort will conclude in April, and applications are now open for the 10th cohort, which will take place during the 2025-2026 academic year.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>The program will begin in the fall semester and continue throughout the academic year. Participants will take part in leadership-focused activities, including a full-day off-site workshop, monthly workshops, small-group work, and coaching. Approximately 16 individuals will be selected for this cohort.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p><em>Eligibility for the program includes faculty with the following ranks:</em>&nbsp;</p></div><div><ul><li>Associate or full professor&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Senior or principal research engineer, scientist, associate, technologist, or extension professional&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Senior or principal lecturer&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Senior or principal academic professional&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Librarian or archivist III or IV&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Apply for the Program</strong>&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>Interested individuals can apply at <a href="http://www.provost.gatech.edu/emerging-leaders" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">www.provost.gatech.edu/emerging-leaders</a> no later than noon on Monday, May 5.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>If you have applied previously and were not selected, you are welcome to apply again by submitting a new application.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>On the Emerging Leaders page, you will also find participants from former cohorts. We encourage you to reach out to your colleagues who participated in the program to learn about their experiences.&nbsp;</p></div></div><div><p><strong>Nominate a Colleague</strong>&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>You are also encouraged to nominate colleagues for the program at <a href="http://www.provost.gatech.edu/emerging-leaders" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">www.provost.gatech.edu/emerging-leaders</a>. All nominees will be contacted to verify their interest and obtain a statement of application.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>Nominations should be submitted by Monday, April 28, to allow program staff time to reach out to nominees and secure an application.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>We hope you will consider applying or nominating colleagues who are in or aspire to leadership roles at Georgia Tech.&nbsp;</p></div>]]></body>
