Stewart Chair, with\u0026nbsp;a \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/me.gatech.edu\/faculty\/shi\u0022\u003Ejoint appointment in the School of Mechanical Engineering\u003C\/a\u003E, Shi\u2019s research and methodologies focus on integrating system informatics, advanced statistics, and control theory for design and operational improvements in manufacturing and servicing systems.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHis keynote, titled \u201cData Modality, Data Science, and Multistage Manufacturing\u201d, will discuss how\u0026nbsp;new technologies like sensors and data science change the way we study and improve manufacturing processes.
