The annual celebration of learning and STEM career opportunities features over 100 events throughout metro Atlanta during the festival’s two-week run, like stargazing, virtual reality art exhibits, and even a celebration of animals in music. The festival culminates in the Exploration Expo at Piedmont Park on March 22 with 100 hands-on, interactive science booths from local organizations, universities, and companies.

Get in the Irish spirit as the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade passes through Midtown on Peachtree Street. The parade features floats, bands, bagpipe and drum corps, dancers, drill teams, and more. Two-time Olympian Susan Smith-Walsh will serve as the grand marshal, and the event is rain or shine.

Where: Georgia World Congress Center
The 43rd Atlanta International Auto Show returns to the Georgia World Congress Center, featuring automakers, a classic car showcase, test drives, and vendor booths. It is the largest consumer event held annually at the venue.

Where: Jim Miller Park, Marietta, Georgia
This weekend-long event highlights Georgia’s culinary scene, featuring top chefs, farmers, and beverage experts from around the state. The Sunday Funday event features live music, shopping, food trucks, and a farmers market. Bartenders will compete in Georgia’s Best Whiskey Cocktail Challenge and the event will include a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center.

Where: Atlanta History Center
The Atlanta History Center’s More Than Brave exhibit tells the life story of Henry “Hank” Aaron as a baseball legend, businessman, and philanthropist. The exhibit, on display through September, features images and artifacts from the collections of the Aaron family, the Atlanta History Center, the Atlanta Braves, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Emory University, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, and personal collections from throughout the United States.
