  <title><![CDATA[Georgia Tech Announces Finalists for the 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Georgia Tech is proud to announce twelve finalists for the 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition, which will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025. These outstanding graduate students have advanced through a highly competitive preliminary round, showcasing their ability to convey complex research into compelling, concise oral presentations.</p><p>We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the participants in this year’s preliminary rounds. The dedication, preparation, and passion displayed by every competitor made this selection process incredibly challenging. Crafting a 3MT talk is no easy feat, and all who took part should be proud of their achievement. The entire Georgia Tech community is encouraged to attend the competition, which occurs as the finale of the 2025 Grad Student Appreciation Week. The Competition will also be streamed online. &nbsp;Audience members and online viewers can vote for their favorite presenter to win the People’s Choice Award.&nbsp;</p><p>Ph.D. winners can win up to $2,000 in research travel grants. The master's winner will receive a $1,000 research travel grant.&nbsp;</p><p>Tech’s 3MT competition is coordinated by the Office of Graduate Education in partnership with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), The Naugle Communications Center, and the Language Institute.&nbsp;</p><p>For more information, visit https://grad.gatech.edu/3mt/final-competition</p>]]></body>
