This is due to current negotiations with the publisher over content pricing.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EOur partners in the current agreement, including the University of Georgia, Emory University, and other schools throughout the University System of Georgia, could also experience interruptions of access to these journals. Our consortia access ended Dec. 31, 2024, though Elsevier has extended access through the end of January.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAs the largest academic publisher, Elsevier requires a large financial investment that has broad impacts on campus. Georgia Tech authors cited Elsevier journals more than 12,000 times in articles published in 2023, and campus downloaded nearly 1 million articles from Elsevier journals.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EUpdates will be available as information is shared throughout the consortia universities.
