Student interest in technology careers is lagging. State departmentsof education and institutions that train teachers need to make surethat teaching programs adequately prepare teachers. For example, theCollege of Computing at Georgia Tech just redid its computer sciencecurriculum and is now trying to work out a model for teachercertification in the subject.
