Recipients of the award are advocates for a positive and productive culture and truly strive to make a difference. The winners were announced at the College of Engineering Staff Engagement Day this fall.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAmwake provides strategic and tactical oversight for ECE\u2019s research operations.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHe is instrumental in guiding faculty through the grants and awards process. He assists with proposal preparation and submission including review of proposal documents and prepare budgets and budget justification for new proposals during the pre-award process.He also provides assistance to faculty over the span of their funded research projects.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAmwake was lauded by his colleagues for his leadership by example and the deep concern he has for those around him. Since joining the awards team as a grants administrator lead in 2022, he has helped to foster an environment of understanding.
