Imlay, Jr. Dean  of Computing. \u0026quot;We feel quite fortunate that Juanwill bring his experience in working at the College level to buildinglasting relationships between the School of  Computer Science and itsalumni and industrial partners.\u0026quot;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDr. McGruder will report to Ellen Zegura, Chair of the School ofComputer Science, and Mary Alice Isele, Director of Development for theCollege of Computing.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAs the chief development officer for the School of Computer Science,Dr. McGruder\u0027s primary responsibility will include the design andimplementation of a comprehensive program for private sector fundraising, and development and implementation of the School\u0027s fundraising plan during a major capital campaign.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Ch3\u003EAbout Dr. Juan A. McGruder\u003C\/h3\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBefore joining the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, Dr.McGruder was Director of Development and Assistant Professor ofEducation at Clark Atlanta University (CAU). Previously, Dr. McGruderserved as Assistant Director of the Consortium for the Advancement ofPrivate Higher Education (CAPHE). Earlier, in his career he heldpositions in student affairs at Radcliffe College, Simmons College,Western Kentucky University, the University of Louisville, ClarkAtlanta University, and Morehouse College.
