Jenny Houlroyd, DrPH, CIH, Occupational Health Group Manager, Safety, Health, Environmental Services (SHES) at Georgia Tech, will examine how to conduct risk assessments when working with new or emerging chemicals/products where little to nothing is known about the long-term health impacts.

Participants will be taught the frameworks used by industrial hygienists to project risk, examine toxicological data, and research alternatives to chemicals that are identified as being high-risk.
