He replaces\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/econ.gatech.edu\/people\/person\/laura-taylor\u0022 rel=\u0022noreferrer noopener\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003E Laura Taylor,\u003C\/a\u003E who held the position from 2018 to 2024 and will remain a faculty member at the School.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003EUnder Taylor\u2019s tenure, the School\u2019s faculty doubled from 19 to 38, and the number of students pursuing economics majors increased by more than 50%.
