  <body><![CDATA[<p><strong>Georgia Tech Commercialization: Tech Ready Grant Awardees Announced</strong></p><p>The Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) is pleased to announce the recipients of this round of Tech Ready Grants, designed to help Georgia Tech faculty take their innovative research from the lab to market success. Each awardee will receive $25,000 to accelerate the commercialization of their projects and further their technology’s readiness.</p><p>The Tech Ready Grants reflect OTL's commitment to supporting faculty inventors by providing resources and funding to help move groundbreaking discoveries closer to real-world application.</p><p><strong>This round’s Tech Ready Grant recipients include:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Lukas Graber,</strong> School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, for his project <em>Air-Breathing Arc Jet Engine</em>, which promises advancements in propulsion technologies.</li><li><strong>Anton Bryksin,</strong> College of Sciences, for his <em>Hydrolysis Probe-Based qPCR Method</em> to improve sequencing library quantification and normalization.</li><li><strong>Susan Thomas,</strong> George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, for her work on an <em>In Vitro Platform for In Vivo Homing Biomarkers and Manufacturing of Therapeutic Cells,</em> pushing forward biomanufacturing techniques.</li><li><strong>Xing Xie,</strong> School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, for his research on <em>Antimicrobial Surfaces Based on Electric Field Treatment,</em> which offers promising developments in health and safety.</li></ul><p><strong>Looking Ahead</strong></p><p>The Tech Ready Grant program is a pivotal initiative that underscores <a href="https://licensing.research.gatech.edu/">OTL's</a> dedication to fostering innovation at Georgia Tech.
