Created in 2020 by the CoE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, the site was built to provide an easy-to-find location for students to find on-campus support for mental health, academic success, career development, financial aid, and more. Housing the site on Canvas allows convenient access for these services in a centralized location that students visit frequently to interact with their courses.

This resource hub, called “GT Student Resources,” is in the navigation menu on the left side of the Canvas dashboard for all Georgia Tech courses. The recent reorganization of the site included an expansion of offerings, as well as new categories that sort resources according to the Eight Dimensions of Wellness — environmental, emotional, intellectual, financial, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual.

The site amplifies work that was initiated as part of the Cultivate Well-Being Action and Transformation Roadmap for Students, which aims to promote and enhance well-being among students, with an emphasis on reducing health disparities.

Student feedback on the site is welcome and can be provided through the link at the bottom of the course.
