They will discuss how they identified key metacognitive processes, such as planning, monitoring, and evaluation, and how they correlated between cognitive presence and academic outcomes through content analysis. Additionally, they will explain how using metacognitive strategies consistently impacts the success of both MOOC and graduate students despite demonstrating different patterns of metacognition and cognitive presence.
