Since joining GTRI in 2004, Sheila has progressed through several roles. Sheila also is very active with various GTRI Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including being Executive Sponsor of the IDENTIFY@GTRI ERG.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESheila spoke of the nomination process, which consisted of interviews with WIT judges:\u003Cbr\u003E\u0022I was asked questions I\u2019d never been asked before, met incredible women from diverse career paths, and felt celebrated regardless of the outcome. I\u2019m deeply grateful for the nomination, for being selected, and for the meaningful recognition of both my technical contributions and my work within the tech community.\u0022 \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWomen in Technology (WIT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the underrepresentation and challenges women and girls face in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math). WIT empowers women and girls to excel from the classroom to the boardroom by providing education, exposure, and experience.
