Stone\u2019s program of research is focused on urban scale drivers of climate change and has been supported by the National Science Foundation, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and US Environmental Protection Agency. His work on urbanization and climate change is regularly featured in \u003Cem\u003EThe New York\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003ETimes\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EThe Washington Post\u003C\/em\u003E, and on \u003Cem\u003ENational Public Radio. \u003C\/em\u003EHe is author of \u003Cem\u003EThe City and the Coming Climate: Climate Change in the Places We Live\u003C\/em\u003E, which received a Choice Outstanding Academic Title Award, and the recently published \u003Cem\u003ERadical Adaptation: Transforming Cities for a Climate Changed World \u003C\/em\u003E(Cambridge University Press).
