675705 event 1722454420 1724866793 <![CDATA[2nd Annual Buzz Studios Film Showcase]]> Join Buzz Studios Filmmaking Club, Georgia Tech's premier filmmaking club, as they kick off their 24th year with a movie night of several short films produced by Georgia Tech students during the 2023-2024 academic year! After the success of last year's inaugural beginning-of-year film showcase, Buzz Studios is proud to return to the Student Center's Atlantic Theater to showcase a wide variety of short films. Show up early for free popcorn, and stay after the show for a Q&A with some of the films' directors and the officers of Buzz Studios about how you can get involved in Georgia Tech filmmaking this year!

Doors will open at 6:00 PM, with the show beginning promptly at 6:30 PM. The total runtime of all of the films is 1.5 hours, comparable to a single feature-length film. Be prepared for offerings including a pair of short films written around three randomly-chosen words, a 1970s detective television homage, a Georgia Tech-themed Breaking Bad parody, a frat house murder mystery, a film that was partially filmed in the very theater you'll be sitting in, a special screen appearance from TikTok's Noah Jay Wood, and more.
