675374 news 1720452648 1720459986 <![CDATA[Summer 2024 EU and Transatlantic Relations Study Abroad]]> All eyes are on Europe (not just the Euro Cup and the upcoming Paris Olympic Games!), The Nunn School study abroad program on the EU and Transatlantic Relations led by Program Directors, Dr. Vicki Birchfield and Dr. Eliza Marklely, with special guest appearances from Dr. Robert Bell and Dr. Katja Weber has put 18 GT students at the epicenter of significant events from the EU Parliamentary elections to the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the 75th anniversary of NATO during a crisis period with Russia’s continued war of aggression in Ukraine.

In addition to ten weeks visiting key EU institutions, NATO headquarters, the ICC, French and Romanian Foreign and Defense ministries and much more, students are also engaged in the State Department’s Diplomacy Lab initiative with research projects on the rise of the far-right in European politics and the role of malign AI in elections.
