674350 news 1713911684 1714681034 <![CDATA[Office of Information Technology's Casey Hayes and Brent O'Guin to Receive Institute Staff Awards]]> The Office of Information Technology's Casey Hayes, systems development senior engineer, and Brent O’Guin, tech strategist and senior architect, have been named 2024 Institute Staff Awards recipients. Hayes will receive the Rising Wreck Staff Award, which honors an individual who has been employed at Georgia Tech for 12-36 months and who “demonstrates operational excellence in their area of work," and O'Guin will receive the One Giant Leap Staff Award, which celebrates a team or employee who “constantly works towards ways to make processes, systems, or situations better at Georgia Tech.”  

2024 Institute Staff Awards honorees will be recognized at the Georgia Tech Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon on April 26, in the Exhibition Hall's Midtown Ballroom. The annual luncheon recognizes faculty and staff who have received accolades and awards throughout the previous academic year.
