The Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award recognizes documents librarians who have made significant contributions to the field of state, international, local, or federal documents. This award recognizes those whose contributions have benefitted not only the individual's institution but also the profession.
GODORT recognized Kenly for her committee work and officer positions in several professional library organizations. She has chaired the Georgia Government Information Interest Group (GIIG) and served on the Georgia State Depository Plan Committee. For many years she has actively participated on the Government Information Committee of the ACRL Science and Technology Section.
