<![CDATA[2024 Campus Steam Outage Planned for May and August]]>
Campus steam outages allow for preventive maintenance and repairs to components of the Holland steam generating equipment and campus steam piping distribution systems. These outages occur periodically throughout the year to enable the maintenance crews to perform necessary, on-going maintenance to the campus’ steam district energy system. Steam outages are scheduled around the academic calendar and are as follows:
Thursday May 2/2024 – End of term.
Saturday May 4/2024 – Shutdown steam plant at 10:00 PM to begin steam outage.
Saturday May 11/2024 - Steam startup
Monday May 13/2024 – First day of classes.
Thursday August 1/2024 – End of term.
Saturday August 3/2024 - Shutdown steam plant at 10:00 PM to begin steam outage.
Saturday August 17/2024 - Steam startup.
Monday August 19/2024 – First day of classes.
