Students will present the results of their problem discovery journey around various societal issue areas prevalent in Atlanta. The 2024 topics are \u003Cem\u003Efood equity, safety and justice, youth development, mental health, environmental justice, and affordable housing\u003C\/em\u003E.\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nWe will have refreshments and pops, and the audience can vote for their favorite poster. You can meet our outstanding community partners, who are working hard to create a better ATL for all of us. This year\u0027s partners include\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.schr.org\/\u0022\u003ESouthern Center for Human Rights\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.freedomisachoice.net\/\u0022\u003EFreedom is a Choice\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.historicwestsidegardens.org\/\u0022\u003EHistoric Westside Garden\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/handheartsoulproject.org\/\u0022\u003EHand, Heart, and Soul Project\u003C\/a\u003E,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.3dgirlsinc.org\/\u0022\u003E3DGirls\u003C\/a\u003E,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.hope2change.com\/\u0022\u003EHopeful Change\u003C\/a\u003E; \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.helpingempoweryouth.org\/\u0022\u003EHelping Empower Youth\u003C\/a\u003E,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/leadcenterforyouth.org\/\u0022\u003ELead Center for the Youth\u003C\/a\u003E,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.wawa-online.org\/\u0022\u003EWest Atlanta Watershed Alliance\u003C\/a\u003E,\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/houseatl.org\/houseatl_team\/odetta-macleish-white\/\u0022\u003ECenter for Community Progress\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI2S takes a comprehensive approach to social innovation, encouraging students to be compassionate listeners, identify and build on the assets of the community, research the solution landscape to learn from both what works and what has failed, take a systems approach to identify the root cause versus the symptoms of the issue.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EStudents who aspire to work closely with and learn from a community partner\/civic entrepreneur, those who want to affect change in the\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EUnited Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)\u003C\/strong\u003E, and those who are wondering how they can make a real, lasting, and appropriate difference in other people\u2019s lives are ideal candidates for I2S.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EA series of\u0026nbsp;hands-on workshops\u0026nbsp;and\u0026nbsp;discussions, complemented by\u0026nbsp;conversations with front-line experts, equips\u0026nbsp;participants with broadly relevant problem-discovery tools and skills to apply in any field and career. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWe are grateful for support from our partners on and off campus:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EThe Cecil B.
