“These faculty and staff, coming from departments as disparate as electrical and computer engineering, mathematics, computer science, psychology and international affairs, brought real savings to their students,” said Library Dean Dr. Leslie Sharp.

Reading Lists allows instructors to add Georgia Tech Library resources, web resources, and their own documents to a single place in Canvas. Students then find all of their course materials in one place.

Potential savings for Leganto across the Institute total more than $175,000, said Associate Dean for Content, Access and User Services Karen Glover.

“We’re working diligently with our partners across campus to try and bring these savings to more students,” she said. “It is our sincere hope that we maximize the potential of this tool and make education more affordable for thousands more students.”
