673174 news 1708975796 1708975795 <![CDATA[ISyE Welcomes Mandy Turnipseed, Financial Admin]]> Welcome Mandy Turnipseed, who joined ISyE on February 12th, 2024, where she assumed the role as a Financial Administrator III. Mandy will work with faculty and staff to develop, prepare, audit and reconcile financial data related to proposals, grants, contracts, general appropriations, endowments and other funds.  

Q: Tell us about the current position you’re in, & interest areas you’ll be focusing on: 

A: I am new to GT and look forward to growing my career in the accounting/finance field within the ISyE college. 

Q: Outside of work, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy that might influence or complement your approach to life? 

A: I want to LIVE life to the fullest and enjoy every moment! I enjoy spending time with my son, boyfriend, and other friends and family.   

Prior to joining ISyE, Mandy worked for the Douglas County School System for over 12 years where she performed as a Financial Analyst and Supervising Payroll Accountant for over 3600 employees county-wide. Mandy earned her B.S in Finance from the University of West Georgia.
