These intelligent behaviors are guided by interactions between many systems, such as, different sensory systems, memory systems, and motor systems. If we want to gain a deeper understanding of complex behaviors, and of natural intelligence more generally, we need to build models that combine the functional capabilities of these individual systems. Building these multi-system models and leveraging them to both understand the brain and augment artificial intelligence are central themes of my future research. In this talk, I will highlight some of my work towards this goal, through the study of behavior, neural activity, and neural network modeling.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EBio:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;Christopher Cueva is a research scientist at MIT working to understand natural and artificial intelligence by analyzing neural activity and behavior, and building and evaluating models of the brain.
