The \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/spp.gatech.edu\/events\/item\/672768\/ivan-allen-college-research-conference\u0022\u003EIvan Allen College Research Conference\u003C\/a\u003E will be held on Friday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Price Gilbert Memorial Library Scholars Event Theater.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u201cWe\u2019re excited to expand the conference to include the entire Ivan Allen College student community,\u201d said Andrew McGraw, academic program manager in the dean\u2019s office. \u201cUndergraduate and graduate students in the College will have an opportunity to form new connections and get feedback from students, faculty, and staff working in similar areas.\u201d\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u201cI know it\u2019s easy to keep your work close to your chest until it\u2019s perfect, but I highly encourage any student interested in participating in the research conference to participate in this event,\u201d said Kallysta T. Jones, who is pursuing a Master of Science in International Affairs, Science, and Technology. \u201cYou never know what amazing experiences will come of it.\u201d\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EJones would know \u2014 she won an award for her paper, \u201cTo the Moon and Back: Terrestrial Teachings for the Future of Lunar Governance,\u201d at last year\u2019s conference.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u201cParticipating in IAC\u2019s research conference last year was such a wonderful experience,\u201d Jones added. \u201cNot only did I present my research publicly for the first time, but I also networked with amazing students and passionate researchers.
