Election to the NAE is among the highest professional recognitions for engineers and an honor bestowed on just 2,600 professionals worldwide.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ENew members are nominated and voted on by the Academy\u2019s existing membership.
