John has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida. From 2009 to 2023, John worked at Siemens Energy on development of high efficiency gas turbines with a focus on hot gas path components and associated technologies. His early career centered on development of emissions reduction technology for the H-class combustion system. Later, he led the transformative technology acceleration program that culminated in the 9000HL product family.
