She then pursued her Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology at the National Institute for Medical Research, UK under the supervision of Fran\u00e7ois Guillemot. For her postdoc, Andersen worked with Sergiu Pa\u015fca at Stanford University, where, among other achievements, she pioneered the generation of cortico-motor assembloids.\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nThe Andersen lab aims to understand the fundamental processes that shape the development and function of the spinal cord and motor system at cellular and tissue levels and identify vulnerable links that predispose it to disease.
