{"671571":{"#nid":"671571","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Utility Investigation Work Begins Dec. 18 for Tech Square Phase 3","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThere is upcoming utility work planned for the Tech Square 3 construction site on Fifth Street between Spring and W Peachtree.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EUPCOMING UTILITY INVESTIGATIVE WORK\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 Below grade investigative work is anticipated to begin on Dec.18 in the South lane of 5th Street. Please note this will result in a lane closure for the south side of Fifth Street between Spring Street and West Peachtree Street for approximately ten days.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 Upon completion of South Lane investigative work, North Lane investigative work will begin. This will result in a lane closure for the north side of Fifth Street between Spring Street and W. Peachtree Street for approximately ten days.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 Investigative work will take place from the hours of 9am-4pm ET. Normal traffic will resume outside the hours of 9am - 4pm ET.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 All of the Fifth Street Investigative work (South and North Lanes) is anticipated to be complete on, or near, Jan. 8, 2024. (A three-moratorium is in effect from the DOT for the holidays during the week of Dec. 25.)\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 Once investigative work has concluded on Fifth Street, additional work will commence on Biltmore Avenue lasting approximately 2 weeks.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EUPCOMING UTILITY WORK\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 Georgia Tech anticipates the subsequent installation and utility work in Fifth Street to take place in middle to late January. Precise dates have not been established at this time.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u2022 The installation and utility work on Fifth Street may result in 24-hour closure of lanes and the north sidewalk.
