The chapter promotes research and public understanding of the brain and nervous system by recognizing promising students and sponsoring lectures. I\u2019m also a bit nervous as well, as I\u2019ve never had this type of leadership position. PSYC \u201804 with High Honors), received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2011 from the University of Maryland.
