He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles related to computational media, cognition, and learning. His research has been featured in the \u003Cem\u003ENew Yorker\u003C\/em\u003E, \u003Cem\u003EUSA Today\u003C\/em\u003E, CNN, Yahoo! Finance, NPR, and other global and regional outlets, as well as galleries and museums around the world. His music-based learning environment for computer science, EarSketch, has been used by more than 160,000 learners.
