This announcement comes on the heels of \u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/news.gatech.edu\/news\/2023\/06\/01\/shannon-lead-university-north-georgia-hubbard-interim-leadership-role\u0022\u003EDaren Hubbard\u2019s appointment\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E to interim executive vice president for Administration and Finance and interim chief business officer. \u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EHowell will begin his new role on June 20. Both Hubbard and Howell will serve in interim roles until the permanent position of executive vice president for Administration and Finance is appointed. In this role, he leads the development and implementation of an Institute-wide information security and risk management program.
