Along the way, she crossed paths with truckers, who often expressed surprise that Vorpahl was among those behind the scenes designing their rigs. She attended Tech at a time when women made up around 27% of the undergraduate population, so when she entered the workforce, she wasn\u0027t fazed. \u0022It never bothered me.
