Inan is Professor and the Linda J. and Mark C. Smith Chair in Bioscience and Bioengineering at the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.ece.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;(ECE), and holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/bme.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EWallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThrough the EMBS Distinguished Lecturers Program, top-quality speakers can connect directly with\u0026nbsp;EMBS Chapters, Student Branch Chapters and Student Clubs Programs.\u0026nbsp;Each year, the program\u0026rsquo;s committee chooses leading experts from around the world\u0026nbsp;as Distinguished Lecturers to keep members informed about the latest\u0026nbsp;trends and developments in biomedical engineering.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EInan is the director of the Inan Research Lab, where he and his research team work on non-invasive physiological sensing and modulation for four different application areas: unobtrusive cardiovascular monitoring, wearable biomechanics, non-invasive neuromodulation of stress, and pediatric bioengineering.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHe is a member of the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari\u0026amp;rls=en\u0026amp;q=Parker+H.+Petit+Institute+for+Bioengineering+and+Bioscience\u0026amp;ie=UTF-8\u0026amp;oe=UTF-8\u0022\u003EParker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;and a program faculty member for Tech\u0026rsquo;\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/bioengineering.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EInterdisciplinary Bioengineering Graduate Program\u003C\/a\u003E. Some of Inan\u0026rsquo;s most recent honors include an Academy Award for Technical Achievement from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (The Oscars), the Georgia Tech Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Advisor Award, and the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award.
